Black is the New Timeless Luxury · Signe Veiteberg · Janne Rugland · Oslo
A throwback on this amazing photoshoot done with the Norwegian model Signe Veiteberg. Timeless — probably more than a trend these days, it is becoming a statement. No filter, just the personality, just Signe in 2024. Janne Rugland gave a proper vision of Signe — and that is where she took another step with this photoshoot.

The Campaign
We were so happy to see her in the Alexandre Vauthier campaigns. Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture FW20/21 — a collaboration that perfectly captures the essence of both the designer and the model: radical, precise, and deeply sensual.

“Black absorbs all wavelengths of light — it is the signature of luxury brands. Timeless, powerful, and the color that reveals the most the personality on pictures.”

No Filter. Just Signe.
Black color absorbs all wavelengths of light and is therefore defined by an absence of color. However, like any other color, black conveys strong symbolism and is the signature of luxury brands. Technical but at the same time powerful — it is the color that many designers use in their collections.
Probably the color that reveals the most the personality on pictures. And that is where Janne Rugland took another step with this photoshoot with Signe Veiteberg.

Black is timeless.
Black is luxury.
Black is Signe.
Nature of black as a color adds a dimension of mystery. The fashion, illustration, and packaging industries have always clearly understood this: it radiates a sophistication that makes it THE color of elegance, refinement, and luxury. When choosing black, you’re certain that you are going with a timeless design.
Very happy to see how Signe Veiteberg and photographer Janne Rugland used this particular time to make the narrative around the position in front of the camera.
