Kristine Ullebø is a model, Norwegian blogger, social media star, photographer and actress. She gained popularity through her blog, started in May 2011, and was part of the Norwegian TV 2 series Bloggerne in 2014. She has since walked the runway for renowned designers including Rick Owens during Paris Fashion Week. We were very pleased to dress her for the ELLE Gallaen event on November 5th at Theatercafeen in Oslo.

Signed with Idol Looks agency, Kristine has been making strides in her modeling career while balancing her influence as a blogger. She has been featured in various fashion editorials and magazines, highlighting her versatility and appeal in front of the camera.
Since her recent comeback in the industry, Vana Perisa wanted to dress her in an iconic way for the red carpet and the event. From those elements came naturally an outfit from Defaïence for the ELLE event.

The Brand
Defaïence was established in 2021 by Nicola Bacchilega, an innovative fashion designer who merges his background in ceramic sculpture with haute couture. Inspired by Faenza’s rich ceramic heritage, Defaïence introduces avant-garde collections of jewelry and ready-to-wear apparel that redefine the boundaries of contemporary fashion.
The brand’s name is a fusion of “faience” (ceramic) and “defiance” (challenge), embodying Nicola’s ethos of pushing artistic and societal boundaries. His collections are wearable sculptures designed to transcend traditional fashion norms.

The designer has made custom items for celebrities including Kelly Rowland, Chloë Bailey, Demi Lovato, Eva Mendes, SZA, Kylie Jenner, Sabrina Carpenter, Gisele Bündchen, Camila Cabello, Amanda Seyfried, Cardi B, Rosalía, and many more.

The Red Carpet
It was natural for us to bring a Defaïence dress for Kristine Ullebø for the ELLE Gallaen event on November 5th. Kristine was absolutely amazing in the Defaïence dress and jewelry. It looked like a film festival ceremony — simply iconic, as her personality radiated at Hotel Continental in Oslo.
Starting the event as a première at a film festival. ELLE Gallaen is also an opportunity for all guests to get dressed in an elegant and feminine way. That feeling that Kristine left at the event was absolutely amazing and even more iconic than we thought.
